Silver Sands is our very special place in Jamaica…

Silver Sands Cottage Owners Association is the owners’ association for Silver Sands. Silver Sands was established as a resort in the early 1960s – although some houses predate this. The Silver Sands Cottage Owners Association was incorporated in 1968 to act on behalf of the lot owners, and all lot owners are members. SSCOA maintains the common areas of Silver Sands – we maintain the roads, procure the security, maintain water mains and electric lights, collect garbage, and procure many other shared services, for and on behalf of the owner community as a whole. To cover these costs, SSCOA charges owners quarterly assessments. The SSCOA typically holds two general meetings each year, an annual general meeting in the last week of December, and an extraordinary meeting in the first week of August.
